In addition to a building framed structure, a property inspector should have a thorough knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems found in a typical home or commercial building. Few can match the skills and experience of our inspectors.
Erik. J. PetersonBefore entering the home inspection business, Erik Peterson owned and operated an Electrical Contracting Firm in Massachusetts involving construction, design and service of commercial and residential electrical systems. He is licensed as an Electrician by the State of Massachusetts and as a Home Inspector by the State of Connecticut. In addition to his construction experience Erik J. Peterson's unique qualifications include over 20 years of hands-on experience in the electrical and mechanical trades . He also has over 10 years of experience in the home inspection industry.
Mr. Peterson's background includes having successfully completed comprehensive courses in Architectural and Mechanical Drafting and Design. He received his professional certification from the School of Building Inspection of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Mr. Peterson is a member of the Connecticut Association of Home Inspectors and regularly attends various continuous education seminars.
Charles W. Peterson
In addition to his construction experience Charles Peterson's unique qualifications include over 35 years of hands-on experience in the electrical and mechanical trades.
Before entering the property inspection business in 1986, Mr. Peterson owned and operated a contracting and service business involving the design, construction and service of Electrical and Mechanical Systems for residential, commercial and industrial clients. Mr. Peterson is licensed by the State of Connecticut as a Master Electrician and Heating, Cooling and Piping Contractor and Home Inspector. He is a past president of the Southern New England Chapter of the American Society of Home Inspectors. Because of his vast experience, he is often called on to lecture at education seminars for other home inspectors.
Mr. Peterson attended and successfully completed comprehensive courses at the University of Bridgeport School of Engineering and received professional certification as a home inspector at the Property Inspectors Institute Inc. of Alexandria, Virginia. He is a member of the following organizations and regularly attends various education seminars.
